It is exciting what’s happening. It is exciting because there is an audience for it. I’m the audience for it. I know it. If I could watch this stuff 24 hours a day on my computer, on my television, that’s where I would be because it’s ideas, and ideas are working. You know that’s why television shows like Oprah are working because people have something to take away, and they crave it, they are dying for it. You know it’s just there’s so much that’s out there, you know, appealing to the lowest common denominator, that you know, it’s kind of getting lost. You know there’s so much good in the world. I always say to everybody I am amazed when people go like the world is insane man, it’s crazy. It’s out-of-control. It’s like people are completely nuts. Like that. I look at his room and I see what 500 to 600 people, not, no one is bashing each other over the head. I am amazed at that. I am totally impressed with you people. Seriously we live on a planet where we are very crammed together and I think we do really well. It’s just when we watch the news, and we watch entertainment. It’s about people’s conflicts tied together in the most exciting possible way can and you imagine that the world is this explosive horrifying place. In the news is all this negativity condensed, you know and it really is not representative of what the world is or what the world wants.
I will tell you what the world wants. The world wants more of the gentleman I’m about to introduce. That I have the honor of introducing. That I have the honor to call a friend. And he has guided millions and millions of people to an understanding of who they really are, of true identity, and how thoughts rule our lives unnecessarily. And he’s really taught me what Jesus meant when he said in the Gospel of St. Thomas ‘Heaven is within you, and all around you in this present moment’. If you’ve read the power of now, and the Good Earth. Or the New Earth. I am sorry. But that’s the next one.Mistakes work. Excellent okay. Mistakes will have a big place in this new medium. If you know his his work and you been looking forward to hearing him this evening you should go back and read it again because you obviously missed the point him. One word of advice when he comes to the stage do not gaze upon him for if you are sinner you will be vanquished. No I’m kidding he’s actually very friendly and very wise and I I’m here tonight because I believe in this idea and also most of all I would do anything to be anywhere in the vicinity of Eckhart Tolle.
