The Heart Internet data centre is secure and has fire protection and redundant power supplies with standby generators.
There are 3 shared hosting plans the ‘Starter Pro’, ‘Home Pro’ and ‘Business Pro’ at £2.49 + VAT , £7.49 + VAT and £10.84+ VAT per month respectively. They only allow one web site on ‘Starter Pro’, ‘Home Pro’ and 3 websites on ‘Business Pro’. Also on the basic ‘starter pro’ package they also charge a setup fee of £10. There is a charge for 2Gb Mail Boxes with POP3 and IMAP of £10 per year and on 10GB Microsoft Exchange Mail Box there is a £10 per month charge. Virus scanning is included in the ’Business Pro’ package but costs an extra £19.99 per year on ‘Starter Pro’ and ‘Home Pro’. They don’t include the Website builder on the Starter Pro package either. When all of the extras are taken into consideration the shared hosting packages at Heart Internet are not the cheapest available compared to companies such as Hostgator, Go Daddy and others.
