All of the Jumpline Shared Hosting plans give you the choice of Control Panel from either cPanel or Parallels Plesk. Both include site statistics for the traffic received to a website and an SSL certificate. Neither of the control panels provides a site builder or shopping carts for selling products online.
CPanel is the most popular web hosting control panel. And it provides support for IMAP and Plesk email, and includes multiple webmail interfaces to choose from. You can easily install over 100 applications with the included Jumpline Hosting APSpanel. Additionally cPanel includes support for PHP, MySQL, and all popular web based applications.
Parallels Plesk is easy to use giving access to all account functions in one place. It is a reliable web hosting control panel that is great for beginners. It includes ApsStandard that supports over 100 applications and makes setup easy. There is also built in support for IMAP and POP email, plus convenient webmail.
Jumpline Virtual Private Server (VPS) Hosting
With VPS hosting unlike Shared Web Hosting, your data is protected and isolated from everyone else’s data. Jumpline Virtual Private Server Web Hosting gives you all the benefits that you get from Dedicated Server Hosting at a fraction of the cost. The Jumpline Virtual Private Servers (VPS) Hosting provides total control and isolation with the ability to install and deploy your own applications, restart the virtual server, and gain access to the underlying operation system.
The Jumpline VPS Hosting Packages start from $29.95 per month and there are three plans on the Jumpline website. All of the plans come with Virtuozzo Power Panel; Full Root SSH Access; CentOS, Ubuntu, or Debian. Additionally for an extra charge you can add Plesk Panel, cPanel/WHM, cPanel/WHM Bundle with WHMCS, 30-day Incremental Backups and Additional IP Address. I haven’t included the spec and price of all of the Jumpline Virtual Private Server hosting packages because they are constantly changing and improving.
Jumpline Dedicated Server Hosting
All of the Jumpline Dedicated Servers include top-of-the-line Dell PowerEdge servers to a specification of your choosing, reliable support from experienced technical staff, multiple data centers with redundancy, unlimited flexibility with all the tools and latest technology that you need.
Jumpline Review Speed Test
When I tested the speed of the Jumpline Hosting Website using Pingdom I found that it was above average being faster than only 78% of all websites as can be seen below:
Help & Customer Support
Support is available at Jumpline in a quick start guides, how-to tutorials and a blog. If you need further help there is also a US-based highly skilled technical support team directly available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year who can be contacted by email, open a support ticket, live chat or toll-free telephone. They will quickly respond to your questions, with an average response time of less than four hours.
Conclusion
The Jumpline Hosting control panel is easy to use even though it lacks a number of features that are standard with most other providers. If the lack of these features is not a concern and you don’t need extra capacity over the supplied specification then Jumpline offers a good web hosting service at a higher price than some of its competition. They do have excellent customer support which may matter more than having capacity and features that you don’t need.
